Martin Soloman is a Solicitor and Senior Partner at leading North East law firm, Hay & Kilner. His specialist work and experience includes wide ranging involvement in commercial matters. He is named as a “Leading individual” in the Commercial Disputes field in Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500, both independently researched guides to the legal profession.
Martin’s involvement with The Chronicle Sunshine Fund spans more than two decades, and he has held the role of Chair since 2002. He was instrumentally involved in the “relaunch” of the Sunshine Fund in 1994 with its revised objectives of assisting disabled children in the North East of England. He is very proud of the association with the Chronicle and the substantial number of disabled children (and their families) who have been assisted so fundamentally by the Charity.
Sarah Hall is a pioneer of best practice in the PR industry. The holder of the Chartered Institute of Public Relation’s Sir Stephen Tallent’s medal 2014 for exceptional achievement in PR practice, she has established a reputation as an ethics tsar and gender and equality advocate through her work with the Institute. Outside of her voluntary commitments, you’ll find her running her own PR and marketing business and being Mum to two small boys.
Darren Thwaites is Editor-in-chief for Trinity Mirror North East, publishers of The Chronicle, The Journal, The Gazette (Teesside), the Sunday Sun and their respective websites. Darren, who has been a trustee of the Sunshine Fund since 2011, helps to showcase the great work of the charity and its supporters across the region’s most influential media brands.
