Hello, I hope you have all finished the last of your Christmas chocolates and are enjoying making 2014 plans. My holiday list is coming along nicely.

I met with our Glass Slipper Awards judging panel this week who had the very challenging task of choosing the seven winners from the successful shortlist for our event at the Hilton on Friday, February 28.

The lunch will celebrate the achievements of women in the North East. We will also be joined by two amazing speakers, Val McDermid, writer of Wire in the Blood and Caroline Theobald, MD of Bridge Club.

Congrats to all the short-listed women mentioned below who will be attending the event as our guests for making a fabulous difference in the North East, also to all our sponsors especially Gordon Brown our overall sponsor.
