Hitchcock movie premiere! 31st January 2013
We are delighted to announce that film distributors Fox have agreed to screen the north east premiere of the new Hitchcock movie
to raise funds for The Sunshine Fund. The premiere will be held at the Tyneside Cinema, Newcastle-upon-Tyne on Thursday 31st January

Glass Slipper Awards - February 2013
The first Glass Slipper Awards will be held in February 2013 at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead. The event, attracting a predominately female audience from
the corporate world of law, accountancy, banks, telesales and recruitment agencies will celebrate the achievements of women.
The awards will recognise Newcomer, Customer Service, Collaboration of the Year, Success of the Year and
Lifetime Achievement award. One award will be voted by the local community via The Evening Chronicle.
We feel this will inevitably promote the Awards and both the sponsor and charity profile.

The Sunshine Run: Wed 26th June
Urging runners of all levels to take part in our annual Sunshine Run which is scheduled to
take place on Wednesday 19th June The Sunshine Run is a 5k fun run, which is, ran along a scenic
route of the Newcastle Gateshead Quayside.
Your participation in the Sunshine Run 2013 will make a real difference to North East children
with disabilities and their families who so desperately need our support. The Evening Chronicle
Sunshine Fund provides grants to individuals, groups, registered organisations, special schools
and hospitals to purchase essential equipment, learning aids and custom built apparatus to improve
the lives of children with disabilities in the North East.
Entry fee is £15 | sponsorship target of £50
There will be a presentation for the top three male and female runner and a prize for the
largest team entered.
