Downtoon Abbey Ball

THE clock turned back almost a hundred years last night for The Chronicle Sunshine Fund's annual Sunflower Ball. The Downtoon Abbey Ball saw Newcastle Marriott Hotel Gosforth Park taken back to the glamorous 1920s with guests sporting appropriate tuxedos and ball gowns. Guest enjoyed a sparkling wine reception followed by a three-course meal at the annual event for our fund, which has to date raised thousands of pounds to change the lives of children with disabilities in the North East.
